We met with the Company on July 17 and presented them with 40 proposals. Some of these were contract language, pager duty, tours and shift definitions. We will be caucusing the week of July 21st thru the 25th so that the Company can go over these proposals. We will meet again on July 29th.

July 17, 2008

The Negotiation Committee submitted 26 proposals to the Company on July 15th. They worked on new proposals on the 16th. They will meet with the Company today at 9:00 am. The Company gave them 9 proposals which involved the Kiosk centers and housekeeping proposals. The proposals the Negotiating Committee gave to the Company involved pager duty, definitions on shifts, tours and generally trying to fill in the holes in the existing contract. More news to follow.

BARGAINING UPDATE

July 7th-The Negotiation Committee met in Helena to go over housekeeping issues.

July 8th-The Negotiation Committee and the Company met for introductions.

July 9th-The Negotiation Committee worked on proposals.

July 10th-Larry Garman (President), Barb Stenquist (Business Manager) Stephanie Miles (Qwest) and Meridith Moreno (Qwest) met to go over several unresolved issues.

July 14th-The Negotiations Committee met to prepare and type their proposals.

July 15th-The Negotiations Committee will be meeting with the Company to present some of their proposals. The committee had a conference call with Reed Roberts from CWA . We will keep in close contact with CWA throughout negotiations.
